Aurora Borealis- Character Concept!

" For days, the sun refused to rise, and the snow continued to fall. The lost tribesmen stumbled blindly in cold darkness while the girl waited at home, growing more anxious with each passing day. She finally dropped to her knees and begged the heavens to let her tribesmen come home safely, promising anything in return. The heavens listened. An agreement was made.
And so the girl left earth to become lights in the sky.
With skies now illuminated, the tribesmen found their way home, and were saved from an icy fate. The girl was forever remembered a hero and even to this day, she wanders the sky during times of darkness."



Introducing Brealis Aksarnirq, a new character of mine! :,D Her story is basically my take on the northern lights, folk-tale style Some general gist:
Appearance: she has extremely long white hair, has a sun tattoo on her left shoulder, and always wears a white fur cape.
Personality: she is strong-willed and kind, but also impatient. She's quite shy.
Talents: Her mother taught her how to weave beautiful multicolored cloths. She is a good hunter and also happens to be very good at kickball.
Brealis' mother is a Goddess who escaped to earth from her home in the Skies. She loved her family on earth, but was forcibly returned to the Skies when Brealis was only eight.
Brealis' best friend and love interest *cough xD is the Chief's son, Kano. When they were little, he'd always stand up for her when other kids made fun of her white hair.

You can read some here! : [link] Regarding the story itself, since the winter solicitous meant that in some areas of the North Pole the sun barely came up, I thought it'd be plausible tribesmen got lost coming home from particularly long hunt when the sun didn't rise.}

It's actually been a while since I've come up with character concepts like these.. I'd love to hear what you think about it!
