Mother and me at the piano

Before I came along, my mom use to teach piano in San Francisco and when I was old enough, she taught me as well! I don't really practice much anymore and the only thing I occasionally play now is Mozart's Turkish March but I'll always remember how much fun it was playing the piano with her and how she would create music exercises and games to help me improve! Even now, my mom has been extremely supportive of me and my artistic pursuits and she is honestly one of my best friends I really wanted to draw something reminiscent of our piano lessons for mother's day, so this was the card design I came up with! _{I didn't spend as much time on this as I planned I started it yesterday D:and it was printed with that lousy printer of ours which fades away my colors, but my mom really loved it and that's all I wanted out of this piece, really!} Anyway... Happy Mother's day, Moms!


This is also a homage to Pierre Auguste Renoir's Two Young Girls at a Piano:[link] .We had a copy of it hung in our music room so it was also one of the first classical paintings I was exposed to and also one of my favorites!  _{Hopefully some of you caught the reference}
